It's Restaurant Week!

It's Charlottesville's semi-annual Restaurant Week this week. As I mentioned last week, there will be special 3 course menues at multiple restaurants for a flat rate of $29 or $36 (not free, but likely worth it), depending on the restaurant. All the information you need can be found here. You may need to make reservations in advance.

Free classes at tru Pilates this week: Monday 5:45p, Wednesday 7:30a or 7:00p, Thursday 7:00p, and Sunday 11:00a or 12:15p . Sign up required (see website).

So the beginning of Spring Semester is always a tad slow, so for now, there isn't much going on. I'll try to keep this updated if anything comes up.

Sunday 1/20:
Monday 1/21:
  • Celebrate MLK at Arts in Action, held at Random Row Books at 6:00. Refreshments will be provided.
Wednesday 1/23:
  • First or Second year girl in the E-school (sorry, I realize this is quite specific)? Check out AΩE, UVA's only engineering sorority in Thorton E-316 from 6-7. You can also catch them on Thursday in Thorton E-303 from 6-7. Refreshments will be provided.
Thursday 1/24:
  • Fourth year? Grab some free donuts and a 2013 list tomorrow from 11:30-1 at Engineer's Way or outside of Campbell Hall.
Friday 1/25:
  • Free 'Happy Hour' class at the AFC at 5:45.
  • Stop by the UVA Art Museum for Final Fridays from 5:30-7:30. Enjoy a free drink, alcoholic if over 21, and some finger foods while checking out their new exhibitions.
Note: there are still Campus Special coupon books in the bookstore for you to take. You can find them by the exit.

Unfortunately, break is over. I'm sorry.
Welcome back everyone! I hope that your break was filled with food that your parents paid for. Now that you're back on your own, it is my goal to make sure that you don't starve.

Get ready for Charlottesville's semi-annual Restaurant Week, held next week 1/21-1/27.
