No better way to prepare for Halloween than with a student discount

Its student night on Fridays, $24.99 w/ student ID.
So apparently it is already October, which I automatically associate with Halloween. While its may not be related to food, student night at Kings Dominion is still a cool deal. I've gone twice, it was well worth it.

As for free food this week, check out your options below:

Monday 10/8:
  • Mention the name "Ryan Newman" at Outback Steakhouse and get a free Bloomin' Onion w/ any purchase.
Wednesday 10/10:
  • Politics or Psychology major? Regardless if you are, you can still sign up for College Council's first "Major Meal Dinner Series" at 6 at Alumni Hall, registration required.
  • Interested in working for NASA (and a STEM major)? There will be an information session about applying for funding from NASA to do research from 12:30-1:30 at MEC 214, pizza lunch provided.
  • Rent a free movie from redbox for free with the code BIRTHDAY, today only.
Thursday 10/11:
  • Stop by the Kluge Ruhe between 5:30-7 for Aussome Thursdays: free beer, appetizers, and art viewing provided.
  • As part of Homecomings, there will be a free cookout on the South Lawn starting at 6!
Friday 10/12:
Saturday 10/11:
  •  Celebrate Homecomings by partaking in Cavalier Countdown at noon in Alumni Hall and enjoy food from Wayside and music.
Sunday 10/14:
  • Aware of the event "Food For Thought" yet? Sounds like it’s made for this blog, considering it appeals to our common goal ("Everyone loves free food samples!"... obviously). Check it out at the Amphitheater between 1-4, courtesy of UPC.
I have yet to try this, but apparently with this coupon you can get a free waffle at the Waffle House (there is one on 29) until the end of the month.
